Gala dos Conquistadores | 94 Years

This is an annual Gala that celebrates the Team, and its main contributors such as players, coaches and associates.

The WAM studio was selected to develop the whole Identity of the event, with the main idea of breaking with the previous editions. The briefing was focused on enhancing the team’s strength and heritage but adding a touch of Glamour. For the first time, it went Live on Porto Canal, hosted by the famous comedian Herman José, accompanied by Orchestra de Guimarães and other artists such as Rui Macena, Marta Ren & The Groovelvets and many more.

Identity

With a straight-forward briefing as this one, and the short list of colors available, my starting point was the recognizable shield that is also a Portuguese national symbol. All of this makes even more sense being Guimarães the Cradle of Portugal. So, it Began from there. Clubs or teams aside, this was a project that I found a particular satisfaction.
